  • Bah Humbug...

I every year see stores schools hang signs that say things like "Happy Holidays" or seasons greetings or merry Xmas. these are attempts to make it a more secular event. the best part is that The meaning of "Holiday" is Holy Day. and as a Holy Day it by no means looses it's religious significance.
Let me start on the Xmas one most Americans. for years I thought oh no they are tiring to get Christ out of Christmas, the amazing thing is it turns out that in Greeks used the X as an abbreviation for Christ, no luck there.
So merry Xmas or Happy Holidays it's Merry Christmas to all unless you prefer Happy Christmas!

  • Election Day

I have mixed emotions about this past super Tuesday,  on one hand Hillary Clinton lost. make no mistake Mrs. Clinton Lost. I could use titles such as honorable or senator or even included her maiden name but those imply respect,  and  credibility,  but I digress. my  disappointment  comes in  john McCain's success. Senator McCain has been undermining conservatives ever since he was elected to the Senate. Had he run as the liberal he was he would have never been elected in the first place. now he's telling those of us who are conservatives that we need to get on his page. He needs to come back to us he has his liberal buddies but with out us it will be president Obama or Clinton.
I have trouble determining who amongst these is the least Socialist. with these three are freedoms are at risk. "managed health care" is dangerous to the freedoms we should be passing on to our children. the paraphrase the American Indians "we borrow this land from our children" let us not fail to deliver the free society we have enjoyed.

  • updated the last blog...

I have updated the previous Blog because there is a whole new crew asking me about this again, for those of you who know feel free to ask me,  any thing you, are curious about probably has already been asked several times, most likely by some kid who wanted to know and lacked the restraint of someone older who would have thought it embarrassing.
